The Belper Arms

The Belper Arms

The Belper Arms is the oldest pub in Leicestershire, dating back to 1290 when which it was named "The Shepherd and the Shepherdess Inn".

It is reputedly haunted by an unseen presence, who has been named "Five-to-Four Fred" as the phenomena occurat that time - at both AM or PM. A sudden temperature drop is reported, but what happens next is unsettling. If you are female you could experience a cold touching on the face, but a male will be attempted to be suffocated! Female staff have also reported being slapped on the botttom.
